In this lesson, we move into what the Word of God declares to us concerning rewards from God on the basis of faithful service to the Lord. Dr. Mitchell examines the difference between salvation and rewards for service. The Biblical basis for rewards is found in 1 Corinthians 3:7-15. Dr. Mitchell will share the 5 rewards which we find in the N.T. First, he brings into focus the need for the believer to be sure they are building on the right foundation. That foundation is Jesus Christ, His person and finished work. Jesus, Himself, said that He would build His church on the rock, God’s revelation of Jesus as the Messiah and Son of the living God.
