What Did Jesus Do at the Cross - Believer's Works - 1 Corinthians 3:8-15 - Prog 22

Once again we take a look at scripture which declares to us the truth of the judgment of a believer's works at the judgment seat of Christ, also known as the Bema Seat. The primary scripture for this truth is based in 1Corinthians 3:8-15. The believer builds upon the foundation of Jesus Christ, but how one builds upon this foundation will be tested by fire. That Day will be revealed by fire and the fire will test the quality of that work. That day, is the day of Christ, not the day of the LORD. The day of Christ is when Christ returns for His church. In this passage, in verse 12, Paul lists 6 kinds of building materials. 3 will endure the fire, and 3 will be burnt up. Let's turn to 1 Cor.3:11 with Dr. Mitchell.
