West Side Story And What's Making Us Happy

The classic musical <em>West Side Story</em> has now been remounted and rethought in a new film directed by Steven Spielberg wtih a screenplay from Tony Kushner. The new film stars Rachel Zegler as Maria, Ansel Elgort as Tony, and Ariana DeBose as Anita. Rita Moreno, who played Anita in the 1961 film, returns in a new role.
