Gospel Reflection– Fr John Corrigan– Stay Awake! (Fr John Corrigan says that like the bridesmaids in today's parable, we do not know the day or the hour of our death, but we do know that when that moment arrives, we will encounter Jesus inviting those prepared into the messianic wedding banquet. Good use of time does not involve extraordinary acts. Good use of time is ordinary acts done with love. Love of the Lord and our neighbour are our highest priorities, we will resemble the wise bridesmaids and will remain vigilant, will live every day as though it might be our last with love, kind to others, quick to forgive, quick to apologise, without any grudges. Stay awake, The Lord warns, you do not know either the day or the hour.)
