<p>Today, a lee-side low-pressure develops along the Front Range and winds become south-southeasterly with highs in the lower 80’s. Tonight, and tomorrow the low lifts northeast over the area with some isolated storms mainly north I-70 developing in the afternoon that really expand in coverage as the low moves off into Nebraska in the evening and overnight. Friday afternoon and evening winds will switch to the north-northwest gusting to 45 mph with some wrap around rain showers are possible overnight. Saturday will be windy and colder behind the system as it spins off into eastern NE and northern IA with some scattered morning rain showers. High Wind Watch Issued for Friday Evening through Saturday Afternoon. Sunday will remain cool with another disturbance Sunday night and Monday that brings a decent second shot for some rain shower and thunderstorm activity in areas that need it. </p>
