VOT: May 30, 2023 “Take heed of your blind spots “ The 3-D focus Three major mirrors: Front, Rear and Side mirrors. Three ways to view life How does God see you? How people see you? How you see yourself? There are three phases of life: Past, Present and Purpose-driven Future. Our main focus must be on the present because we cannot do anything about the past, but to plead for mercy from God to correct it. However we can work hard in the present by the grace of God to earn a glorious future. Nuggets 3 D‘S of Past, Present and Post (Future) 1. Past: Delete. We must delete the past from our records and focus on the present. Forget the former things. Do not dwell on them or sorrow over them because you cannot do so much or anything about it. But you can pray to God who Has corrected it by the Blood of Jesus Christ. 2. Present: Determination. We must be determined to ensure that our present aligns with God’s plan and purpose. Do the right things at the right time as led by the Holy Spirit. Due diligence to ensure our present falls in line with the Word of God or God’s will. 3. Purpose-driven (Glorious Future): Destined for greatness and good success. Joshua 1:8, Jeremiah 29:11. How to navigate your way from the present to a glorious future 1. Study and meditate on the Word 2. Believe God’s report over every and any other reports 3. Declare your true identity in Christ 4. Take heed of your spiritual blind spots. (Everyone sees it, but you don’t) Colossians 4:17 Spiritual blind spots: Whatever is blocking your view. Whatever is preventing you from experiencing the fullness of God Subtle or hidden sin, secret faults, subtle pride, self glorification, evil thoughts or suggestions and imaginations God sees it, Others may see it, but you don’t see it, except the Holy Spirit of God reveals it to you.
