VOP 2022: May 9, 2022 Pressure to Pleasure “DO NO SHIFT OR DRAWBACK” Whenever there is increased pressure or desperation, there is need to stay focused and not allow the devil deceive you or play a fast one on you, by making you shift your position or righteous standing. The tricks and deception or wiles of the adversary have not changed, but the manner of execution of his wicked acts vary based on the reception or attention he receives from an innocent captive. This is why we are warned to resist him steadfast. If your push your ways through regardless of “Peer Pressure” you will bring forth and break forth in rejoicing, being an “Overcomer” The reason why the adversary fights so hard is because he recognizes the fact that your victory has been settled before the battle started, and he only tries to confuse or convince you to shift ground or bend towards his defeated side by suggesting negative ideas and evil imaginations which result in fear. You can choose to believe God to the saving of your soul by faith in Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God. The Bible tells us to hold steadfast the profession of our faith, for He (God) who promised us everlasting joy and peace is able and faithful even till eternity. “Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise: “For yet a little while, And He who is coming will come and will not tarry.
