VOP 2022: March 29, 2022 Divine Alignment of thoughts "Think and meditate upon the Word" Thoughts are idea or opinion produced by thinking or occurring suddenly in the mind. They are suggestions or imaginations that are processed in the mind or heart of a Man or people. There are many voices speaking and not of them is without significance. 1 Corinthians 14:10. "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope". Jeremiah 29:11. Thoughts turn out to be spoken words. The bible tells us that out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks The word is received in the head-Knowledge and it progresses to the heart, where the thinking is. Therefore the heart or mind is the store house of the information. The word of God tells us that as a Man thinks in his heart, so is he. "So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me [a]void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. Isaiah 55:11 NKJV. “Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life” (Proverbs 4:23). "For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him. 2 Chronicles 16:9 NKJV. 1. The mind or the heart is the control house or store house, where information is processed. Out of the heart flows the issues of life. As man thinkers in his heart., so he is. Proverbs 23:7. 2. A lot of transactions (buying and selling) take place in the heart, hidden from all except God. All our thoughts are open to God. This is why God admonishes us not to doubt, waver or walk in unbelief. “For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. 3. The heart is desperately wicked. Therefore we must be intentional to ensure that we are constantly cleansing it with the word-sanctification. “The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it? Jeremiah 17:9.
