VOP 2021: September 3, 2021 Power of Testimony: The reason why we sometimes experience tests and trials is to build up our spiritual muscles and develop our faith for the miraculous. The ultimate desire of God is for us to come out as champions, more than conquerors by our testimonies. David prevailed over Goliath when he recalled his past testimonies, and he was empowered the more not only to confront Goliath, but to crush his head. We are created to reign in dominion and subdue the earth through our great deeds and testimonies. Our help and divine empowerment is by the Holy Spirit. “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.” ‭‭Revelation‬ ‭12:11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬. “So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and a stone, and struck the Philistine and killed him. But there was no sword in the hand of David. Therefore David ran and stood over the Philistine, took his sword and drew it out of its sheath and killed him, and cut off his head with it.
