VOP 2021: October 17, 2021 Repair the Altar: To maintain a good standing with God, we must take heed to constantly pull down every strongholds, high places, idols and images, erected by either familiar or unfamiliar agents of destruction. We are obligated to subdue all contrary powers that contend with us to hinder the fulfillment of God’s plan and purpose for our life. Therefore we must act in faith and treat God’s enemies as our enemies by exercising the power and authority given to us to destroy anything and everything that does not bring glory to His Holy name. “Then Elijah said to all the people, “Come near to me.” So all the people came near to him. And he repaired the altar of the Lord that was broken down.” I Kings‬ ‭18:30‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.” II Corinthians‬ ‭10:4-6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬.
