VOP 2021: November 13, 2021 Fully persuaded by the Word The words of men are sometimes enticing and unreal, but the Word of God is the most reliable. Often times people choose to believe Man’s opinion or report even when it is contrary to God. We must remember the fall of man (Adam and Eve) at the Garden of Eden was as a result of the fact that they were not fully persuaded by the Word of God and divine instructions. As such they easily fell into the trap or the snare of the devil. We must shun every lie of the enemy or adversary and embrace God’s Word, the truth. You must be fully persuaded by the Word, which is the final authority and highest standard. “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John‬ ‭14:6‬ ‭KJV‬‬. “and being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭4:21‬ ‭KJV‬‬. “For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans‬ ‭8:38-39‬ ‭KJV‬‬.
