One of those thoughts that hit you from nowhere and puts things a little more in perspective. *UNLUCKY* They said they’d stay forever They said they’d never leave We would face the world together I wore my heart on my sleeve My days were brighter, my nights warmer I looked and felt good on the inside There was no other feeling better It was all love from this side. They made everything better I felt like I could take on the world with them by my side. I felt invincible, with so much power I don fall in love, Again I was off the streets. Obsessed with this new feeling, to all my demeanor screamed Who de breettt! But I guess I did too much or said something wrong. I loved too hard or maybe not enough? 2 days turned to 2 months and from them my phone never rang The beauty I felt within had long died I felt useless, unwanted and undeserving Oh how I cried. How could one go from having pure bliss For real this time, not the biscuit To feeling like a burden they need to release That’s just an evil plot twist Did I once more just lose myself in love or did they lose me.
