It has infiltrated hiring, curriculum, admissions,&nbsp;trainings, and more. But “equity” is not the same thing as equality and delivers very different results. Rather than providing all individuals with equal opportunities to succeed, “equity” segregates individuals by race while driving a narrative of “oppressor” vs. “victim.” It calls for institutions to treat people unequally in order to achieve equal outcomes.
