UCL: Obviously disappointing – Cyril Dessers react as PSV beat Rangers 5-1

<p>Super Eagles attacker, Cyril Dessers has lamented Rangers’ 5-1 defeat to PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League group stage qualifying match.</p>, <p>PSV beat Rangers 5-1 at the Philips Stadion to comfortably move to the group stage of the competition.</p>, <p>Dessers was not his usual self during the game and was hauled off just past the hour mark.</p>, <p>PSV took the lead through Ismael Saibari who scored twice before halftime, before James Tavernier got one back to give the visitors hope.</p>, <p>But Luuk De Jong, Joey Veerman and Connor Goldson (own goal) put the game beyond the Scottish side.</p>, <p>Speaking to UEFA official website after the game, Dessers expressed disappointment with the outcome of the game.</p>, <p>“Obviously, it’s disappointing. We came here with high hopes after a good performance last week, where we had PSV under control.</p>, <p>“We started well, but PSV then came into the game, and they have a lot of quality in every department,” he said.</p>
