U.S. to Reduce Civilian Footprint in Afghanistan as Security Situation Deteriorates

<p>State Department Spokesman Ned Price announces that the U.S. is further reducing its civilian footprint in Kabul as the security situation deteriorates and the western city of Herat falls to the Taliban. Price also says the increasing violence is of "grave concern" and that U.S. forces are being sent to secure Hamid Karzai Airport in Kabul.</p>
