Transfer: Monaco defender Disasi to join Chelsea

<p>AS Monaco defender Axel Disasi is set to join Chelsea this summer transfer window.</p>, <p>According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea are close to reaching an agreement with Monaco for Disasi’s signature.</p>, <p>Romano made this known in a tweet via his official Twitter handle on Sunday.</p>, <p>“Chelsea are on the verge of reaching an agreement with AS Monaco for French CB Axel Disasi, as @David_Ornstein has reported,” Romano tweeted.</p>, <p>“Negotiation at final stages to be sealed next week after Monaco agreed €15m deal for Salisu as new centre back. Disasi has already accepted.”</p>, <p>Disasi, 25, joined Monaco from French Ligue 1 side Reims in 2020.</p>, <p>Meanwhile, Chelsea are keen to strengthen their squad this summer after finishing in the second half of the Premier League table last campaign.</p>
