Transfer: It’s time to assess him – Pochettino on Chelsea’s latest recruit, Ugochukwu

<p>Chelsea boss, Mauricio Pochettino, has reacted to the club’s latest signing Lesley Ugochukwu.</p>, <p>Pochettino said he would have to assess Ugochukwu to know if he is going to be part of his team next season or leave Chelsea on loan.</p>, <p>Chelsea on Tuesday officially confirmed the signing of the 19-year-old midfielder from French Ligue 1 side Rennes.</p>, <p>Ugochukwu signed a seven-year contract with the Blues, with an option for a further year.</p>, <p>Reacting, Pochettino told Chelsea’s official website, “Today is going to be his first training session with us. He is a young and talented player. We don’t know if we have the possibility for him to play tomorrow but we will assess him.</p>, <p>“Now it is time to assess him until the end of the transfer window, and see if he is going to be with us or go on loan.”</p>
