What is the meaning of water baptism? Baptism is a well-known church ordinance that represents being dead to sin and being raised to a new life with Christ. In the Gospels, we see that Jesus Himself was baptized, but what for? Why would a sinless man be baptized? Jesus's baptism is a powerful moment where Jesus identifies with humanity in their sin, failures, and brokenness.
