The Spanish Influence in the Island of Cuba

<p>Episode 2 of the Cuban Family Roots Podcast highlights the Spanish influence in the Island of Cuba. It begins with a historical perspective of the three influential regions of Spain whose inhabitants migrated to Cuba; the Andalusians, Canary Islanders, and the Galicians, amongst other regions that also had major influences on the culture and food of the Island. &nbsp;In the Family Roots segment of the Podcast, an interview with Christian Martinez Valle provides evidence of why Galicians came to Cuba, as he recounts the story of two of his great-Grandfathers, both of whom came from the Galician region of Spain to Cuba.
