We literally have everything that we need for life and godliness. It is one thing to experience the life of God, it is another thing to express it so that we can take advantage of it.&nbsp;</p> <p><br></p> <p>We have talked about Saul and how he experienced the life of God and express that life.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Simon was an interesting characters before Jesus changed &nbsp;his name to Peter. He was &nbsp;unreliable, unstable and fearful. Peter seemed to know how to say the wrong things at the wrong time. But in spite of all these, Jesus &nbsp;saw a rock in him. Jesus saw someone who was dependable and could withstanding the cause of the gospel.</p> <p><br></p> <p>&nbsp;Luke 24:49 (NLT), 49&nbsp;</p> <p>“And now I will send the Holy Spirit, just as my Father promised. But stay here in the city until the Holy Spirit comes and fills you with power from heaven.”</p> <p><br></p> <p>Jesus warned Peter during the last supper that he would deny Him three times before the rooster crows. Peter swore and denied that such would ever happen. Jesus assured Peter that He had prayed for him. Peter denied Jesus. He went to the extent of saying that He had never knew Jesus. After three years of following Jesus, Peter was still unreliable. But Jesus did not worry. When Peter encountered the power of the Holy Spirit, everything about him changed. The fearful and timid Peter stood in front of the whole nation to address them. When Peter waited for the power of Holy Spirit as instructed by Jesus, he (Peter) became the carrier of God’s life and everything about Him changed.
