THE REAL REASON VADER DID THAT TO THE TOWN PEOPLE - THIS IS AWESOME!

In Obi-Wan Kenobi episode 3, Vader went full dark side on the town people while Obi-Wan watched. I believe there was more to this than just 'Vader being evil Sith Lord'. I read a lot of comments questioning why Vader did this, what his motive really was, and I think I have found it, at least in theory. I think Vader was trying to show Obi-Wan that Anakin Skywalker was long gone, and that he is so far from the Jedi at this point, that he's doing all these things to innocent people.
