The Power to Start Again 3

<p>Saturday 3rd April:&nbsp;</p> <p><br></p> <p>The Power to Start Again – “…from the very beginning”</p> <p><br></p> <p>In the classic 1965 movie, Sound of Music, Maria the governess of the house taught the Captain’s children a song that said;</p> <p>“Let's start at the very beginning, A very good place to start…”</p> <p>The wisdom in the song for me is that – the beginning is always the best place to start, even when you are starting again. We said yesterday that Easter is actually the story of God starting again. He started with the first Adam in the Garden of Eden, there was the sin problem that tried to derail God’s plan but He implemented another plan, the plan of Redemption and Jesus Christ, the last Adam pursued and perfected that plan. As we celebrate this Easter, let us remember God’s bigger plan and the fact that we can celebrate because God started again.</p> <p><br></p> <p>Why did God’s “Start Again Plan” work out so well? It worked out well because right from the very beginning God designed it into the system, He built the earth to withstand the worst of human errors and yet start again and all this He did even before creating anything.&nbsp;</p> <p>And all the people who belong to this world worshiped the beast. They are the ones whose names were not written in the Book of Life that belongs to the Lamb who was slaughtered before the world was made. Rev. 13:8, NLT</p> <p><br></p> <p>The Lamb of God had paid the price for all human error before the world began. God foresaw that the first Adam would fail, He saw that a lot of things would go wrong, yet He went ahead with creation, because in Christ He had made provision for us to be able to start over again and again and again. Easter is a demonstration of God mercy to mankind.</p> <p><br></p> <p>May you enjoy His mercy today and always.</p> <p>Good bless you, Enjoy your day.</p> <p><br></p>
