<p>&nbsp;Thursday 29 April 2021&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>The Power of Repetition 4</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>A lot of us have the wrong concept of repetition and it started when we were children. &nbsp;My first understanding of the word "repetition" or "repeat" was related to not doing well in an exam and based on that you are told to repeat the class. Even though the reason you are told to repeat was to strengthen your understanding of the subject at that level, in our minds, to repeat meant you were not intelligent, and a lot of us have taken that idea into adulthood. So instead of repetition being an opportunity to develop mastery, for a lot of us when we hear repeat or repetition it has to do with failure or lack of intelligence.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>2 kings 5:14 (GNB)</p> <p>14 So Naaman went down to the Jordan, dipped himself in it seven times, as Elisha had instructed, and he was completely cured. His flesh became firm and healthy like that of a child.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Naaman was a general in the Syrian army and he had leprosy. A little girl that worked in his house said to him " if you go to Israel, there’s a prophet there who can heal you". So, he went to see Elisha and Elisha sent his servant Gehazi to tell him to go dip himself seven times in the Jordan River. Initially, he was angry because he felt that the rivers in Syria were better than Jordan and he’d rather bath there. But he eventually went to Jordan and did as he was told by the prophet.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>The first time he dipped himself in Jordan nothing happened, went in second time nothing happened, fifth time nothing happened, sixth time nothing happened, the seventh time, as he was coming out his skin was completely changed, the Bible says his flesh became firm and healthy like a little child.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>God literally renewed him. Through those immersions, he was investing time, each immersion was time spent in the water and like we said earlier, when we talk about repetition, it's about the investment of time. What did this
