The Parable of the Two Lost Sons

This episode is our sermon from Sunday March 27 on Luke 15:11-32. Jesus tells this parable in response to the Pharisees and scribes grumbling that he eats with tax collectors and sinners, and it helps explain why it is that they're grumbling. This parable shows two different ways of being lost; two ways of using their father for their own selfish purposes. One obeys and is filled with pride. The other disobeys and is filled with shame. But both are far from the father. And this sermon will help us see how.
