The Lord’s king conquers giants

William Taylor - Many things cause God’s people to fear. Most of all, Satan and death are the great enemies of God’s people. They have the potential to terrify us. The famous story of David and Goliath teaches us that God’s King has all of God’s power to defeat God’s great enemies. It is not primarily a story about ‘little me’ – rather, a lesson about King Jesus who has defeated the Christian’s greatest foe.
