That is why we must turn from our wickedness, turn from riotous living, turn from sexual immorality, turn from worldly lust and passions, turn from rebellion against God... And turn to the only One that can save us - the Lord Jesus Christ! You are now free to be holy - now don't return back to that jail cell! We have been set free to live clean, holy and righteous lives! Christ Jesus has set us free! If the Son has set you free, you are free indeed! Jesus makes it clear in John 8:12 when He said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows Me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." So, the implication and expectation that if we ARE following Christ, then we will NOT walk in darkness! We cannot be in violation of the Scripture and expect for all to be well in our lives! We must tell people to stop SINNING, for if they do not repent, they will go to Hell, as they await final judgment at the Great White Throne! And we have to give it to them straight and stop with all of these feeble ill-advised comments about how God is so good in His love and that the devil is messing with them and that how we are all not perfect! In God's perfect love, He will allow you to send yourself to Hell because you would not stop sinning! And that's the bottom line to it all! We are going to have to WANT to not sin anymore! We are not helping anyone by rubbing their back in justifying and condoning sin. We have to, we must, let them know that they are heading in the wrong direction! We all must repent and live holy and righteous lives in Christ, and not make excuses or justifications for sin on any level! Because the Bible is clear, that when we submit to God, and resist the devil, oh he will flee
