The Jazz Room - July 2021

In this month's visit to The Jazz Room Laurie Stead showcases a wide ranging collection of jazz from Ella Fitzgerald to Django Reinhardt. Plus some contemporary highlights from UK band Empirical, a classic George Shearing Quintet recording, the wild and wonderful blues legend John Lee Hooker and a reminder of the much missed Marsden Jazz Festival from Digby Fairweather. All this plus music from the fabulous Benny Carter Big Band.
