<p>We didn't grow up in the internet era, where at seven you have access to cell phones. the internet and where people have access to YOU. When our parents parented, you could pick your kids up at school and drop them off at a friends house knowing they couldn't really access other people unless they picked up a phone. Now it's like the wild west for them. We are parenting blindfolded<strong>. </strong>Now our kids know more than we do about the internet. The internet accelerates their growing up and also inhibits their growing up. We can track them and see everything they are doing but they can access the world without us really knowing.
