The insect apocalypse and what it means for life on Earth

The insect apocalypse is upon us. A world without insects may mean cleaner windshields and no more bug bites, but a world without insects would be dramatically different from the world we know. According to author Oliver Milman, it looks like that is where we're headed. He's an environmental journalist with British newspaper the Guardian. His new book is The Insect Crisis: The Fall of the Tiny Empires That Run the World.
