Friday 25th June    The Force of Joy 5   We are still talking about the force of joy, and like we said yesterday there are roles that must play to enable the manifestation of that which God has promised us. The question is, are you cultivating the right environment to enable God’s joy to take root and blossom in you? Just like planting a seed, the seed requires the right mixture and proportion of sunlight, water, humidity and a fertile soil to help it germinate and eventually bring forth its fruits. In essence, the fruit does not jump on the seed, there are some basic and measured factors that help the growth process and eventually make harvests delightful. The point here is that you need to control your environment until the joy of the Lord is flowing consistently in your life. You do not leave anything to chance, you have to create an enabling environment for the joy of the Lord and be deliberate about the things you allow in your space. In a seedling environment, nothing is left to chance, everything is controlled until the seed can survive on its own. Until you get to that point where the joy of the Lord flows freely in your life, you cannot leave anything to chance. Mark 5:35-36 (NLT) 35 While he was still speaking to her, messengers arrived from the home of Jairus, the leader of the synagogue. They told him, “Your daughter is dead. There’s no use troubling the Teacher now.” 36 But Jesus overheard[a] them and said to Jairus, “Don’t be afraid. Just have faith.” Jairus’ daughter was sick to the point of death and he came to Jesus for help.  Though Jesus assured him that everything would be fine, by the time He got to Jairus’ house, his daughter was dead.
