<p>Early is on time, on time is late, and late is just unacceptable.  Either that statement makes you cringe or it is something you live by.</p> <p>Growing up, this was engrained in me. And I've shifted it to not be so cringeworthy to finding the silver lining in how showing up on time has so many factors to leadership.</p> <p>Lateness has become such a problem in many organizations that we've even tried to shift to creative start times, such as 8:47am, thinking that will trigger this new model of thinking and employees will magically show up.</p> <p>But, showing up on time is a behavior and habit that needs to be cultivated over time.
