Ten years later, she graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University with a degree in cognitive neuroscience. At 23, she penned <a href='https://www.hachettebookgroup.com/titles/brooke-ellison/miracles-happen/9780786867707/?lens=hachette-books'>Miracles Happen</a>, a memoir that was adapted into a movie, <a href='https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0407612/'>The Brooke Ellison Story</a>, directed by Christopher Reeve.
