<p>The Fear of Starting Again 6</p> <p>I’ve always asked myself, why does God always make us go through things that will challenge us so much, almost to our breaking point till we become fearful? To show that He knows what is going on He then says Fear Not” Why? Because He knows that we're actually</p> <p>Jacob had left his father's house because Esau had threatened to kill him once their parents were dead. He felt cheated out of his birth right even though he had traded it out to Jacob long before then and he was furious that he finally got the blessing too. As a result of Esau’s threat Isaac advised Jacob to go and stay with his uncle Laban. After God had prospered Jacob in Laban’s house, God told him to return to his home country.</p> <p>Returning home was good news to Jacob, the only problem was that there was a death threat by his brother waiting for him. As he drew closer home, he sent some of his servants to Esau with gifts and to let him know that he was returning home with his household. The servants returned and told Jacob that Esau was coming with 400 horsemen with him, as soon as Jacob heard this, he began to panic. His mind had painted the picture of his household being massacred and he was full of fear.</p> <p>Genesis 32:11-12 (NLT)</p> <p>11 O lord, please rescue me from the hand of my brother, Esau. I am afraid that he is coming to attack me, along with my wives and children. &nbsp;12 But you promised me, ‘I will surely treat you kindly, and I will multiply your descendants until they become as numerous as the sands along the seashore—too many to count.’”</p> <p>Jacob couldn’t understand how God would make him a promise yet, he’s confronted with a life-threatening problem at the same time. He had used all the sense he knew and was at his wits end, and he told God plainly” “…I’m afraid…”</p> <p>Sometimes God gives you a promise or prophecy just like He gave Jacob and it collides with a problem. He said to Jacob “Go back to your home country and start over again and I’ll bless you and your descendan
