<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Have you ever told someone something personal and vulnerable, and felt like they aren’t actually seeing or hearing you? It really doesn’t feel good. And yet, many times, that is the kind of affect our patients are met with.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Maintaining professionalism is important, and being able to navigate chaotic, high-stakes situations is absolutely vital, but I think in the midst of that, we can also show our patients that we care.
