The Daily Mess Binge Watching The Johnny Depp Trial

<p>May 4, 2022</p> <p>I’ve been watching the Johnny Depp/Amber Heard trial. For no reason other than to make a connection with the mystery. Each professional witness breaks it down. To every action there’s a reaction. The story deepens. I’m taken back by the memories everybody’s sporting. They know the dates and the time like it just happened! A few times Johnny and some of the witnesses crack a smile admitting that if it’s on the lawyer’s paper then it must be so. I became shell shocked when Amber’s lawyer kept bringing up stories from completely unknown journalists attached to websites. Since the beginning of digital connections we’ve always been told to never believe what you read on the internet. The evidence brought up was totally paparazzi/click bait material. I support all shapes of journalism and their platforms but the material shared sounded more like material from Bloggers. No podcaster has been mentioned. Thank God! As a Broadcaster I love to break stories down. I visit several sources of information to build and rebuild what physically is the real story. De Frag! I wish there were more De Fragger’s in the world. We hit a website and the subject in question is instantly labeled guilty. De Frag!
