They spent the day sleeping in a haystack and now they are on their way to the next town. They turn away from where the Baker and his wife said they were going and find a brook to sleep beside when they are tired of walking. When they wake Jess sees that there is a storm coming and they need a place to go. She searches around and finds an old boxcar. They quickly race to the boxcar and get inside just in time.
