The Battle and the Victory Day

<p class="p1">To celebrate the 75th anniversary of Victory in Europe Day, we have a story from the waning days of World War II. Three forces are descending on a German prisoner of war camp full of French VIPs and assorted European resistance fighters: an American company with 4 Sherman tanks, a large group of fanatical SS troops and, most unlikely of all, a group of former German soldiers turned Austrian freedom fighters. Their inevitable collision will create one of the strangest battles of the entire war, just days before it came to an end.</p>
