The AMP Reviews Memories Part 2: Stink Bomb (1995)

<p>On this episode, Cat and Joe continue to discuss the 3-Part anthology 'Memories' based on the mangas by Katsuhiro Otomo, of Akira fame. This time, the team look at the second film in the anthology called 'Stink Bomb', about an under-the-weather Mr. Bean-type protagonist who accidentally takes an experimental medication at the lab where he works, and subsequently deals with the escalating chaos that ensues. This sci-fi slapstick thriller is directed by Tensai Okamura (Cowboy Bebop: The Movie [Director], Ghost In The Shell [Animation Dept])and it boasts a largely ska soundtrack, some beautiful animation, and some unexpected delights.
