The AMP Reviews Digimon: The Movie (2000)

<p>On this episode, Cat and Joe discuss and review the Frankenstein-esq Digimon movie made from 3 Digimon featurettes directed by Mamoru Hosoda. This film was made to compete with the Pokemon franchise, and although it was never a feature length film in Japan, it can be considered Hosoda’s directorial debut in America. The team discuss the oddities of trying to tie 3 very different stories together, and the even more bizarre addition of Angela Anaconda to the start of the film, and also everything that is really wonderful about it. Joe also talks about how this movie heavily influenced his taste in music, and how nostalgic it is to watch again.</p>
