Terrance Ruth sits down with Andy this week on the podcast to talk bout his campaign for Raleigh's next Mayor and his faith journey. About Terrance Ruth I was born into a military family and a family of faith. My father was in the Navy, my mother in the Army. They raised me and my five siblings to have a strong moral code and to live by it every day. Since childhood, I have followed my parents’ example, striving to care for the least among us and to serve them with respect and purpose. As military families do, we moved a lot when I was young. I was born in Texas, grew up in Florida, and went to college in Florida, earning a doctorate at the University of Central Florida. I moved to Raleigh in 2010 to work as a public school teacher and later as principal of an alternative school in  Holly Springs. I met my wife Kiara in Raleigh. We love Raleigh, and we’ve made it our home. My family, Kiara and Miles, are with me, and we’re excited about this journey! Now we need your help.
