We forget that we are starting something new, and we forget to give ourselves grace. </span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Let’s talk about being an expert… can you actually become an expert at something when you are offering every service imaginable? </span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">A misconception is that you actually have to be good at everything. </span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Something that is not commonly taught is that it is easier to be an expert at something when you pick ONE thing. </span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Do you know what else is a common misconception… to be a successful hairstylist, you have to have a big salon with lots of stylists. </span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">You can easily run a successful salon with only a few hair stylists if you know your numbers. </span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Not only that, remember that your clients will pay you double if you can go faster if you can give them the outcome they are looking for, AND if the overall experience is better. </span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">What is the outcome you’re looking for? </span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Once you figure out what that is, you want to reverse engineer it to really figure out HOW to get where you
