<p>Steve Cooper talks with musician Steve Kilbey. Steve is best known for being the singer-songwriter and bass guitarist for the rock band The Church. The Church are an Australian alternative rock band formed in Sydney in 1980. Initially associated with new wave, neo-psychedelia, and indie rock, their music later came to feature slower tempos and surreal soundscapes reminiscent of dream pop and post-rock. They have recorded 17 studio albums and are best known for the hit single Under the Milky Way. As  solo album or in collaboration with other artists Steve has recorded over 20 albums and in 2011 was inducted to the Australian Songwriter's Hall of Fame.</p> <p></p>
