<p>In this episode of Recovered, we talk to First Step alumna, Stephanie S who's alcoholism almost killed her. By the end of her drinking she had collectively spent over 100 days in the hospital. After many attempts in treatment, she finally thoroughly worked the twelve steps of alcoholics anonymous and has recovered. Shortly after Stephanie got sober, she walked through the death of her father. Because of the program, she was able to show up as the daughter her father deserved and be present for her family. Today, Stephanie lives a beautiful life where she uses her dark past to help others.
