Description
Off we go to a significant moment in Pittsburgh Steelers history. Harry Potter: The Goblet Of Fire had just completed it’s four week run at number one at the box office being replaced by The Chronicles of Narnia. Also, America was just learning the news of the deaths of comedian Richard Pryor and former presidential candidate, Eugene McCarthy — and the Steelers were reeling. The previous week saw T.J. Houshmanzadeh wipe his cleats in the safety of the Heinz Field tunnel with a Terrible Towel. Meanwhile...after three straight losses, Bill Cowher wiped the slate clean and told his 7-5 team that the regular season comes down to a series of four playoff games. A loss, at this point, would have been lethal. Visiting Heinz Field was a dangerous visitor, the Chicago Bears. Welcome to December 11, 2005 and the beginning of a legendary run. Flash back to that awesome classic on the Steelers Retro Show and join BTSC’s Tony Defeo and Bryan Anthony Davis as they go back in time and relive this memorable matchup.
