Spoiler-Free Review: Carter Smith's 'Swallowed' [Overlook 2022]

<p>We're dropping a mini-review of Carter Smith's new queer horror film <em>Swallowed</em>, which just had its world-premiere at the Overlook Film Festival! Since the film is still seeking distribution and thus can't be seen by most audiences, this a completely spoiler-free review. We will release a longer (spoiler-filled) episode on the film when it gets released. </p><p>Starring Jena Malone (<em>The Ruins</em>, <em>The Neon Demon</em>) and Mark Patton (<em>A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge</em>), <em>Swallowed </em>is a pulse-pounding tale of two best friends on what might be their final night together.
