<p>Derrison Palea is a hip hop artist based in Kansas City also known as King Kihei. He is networked with the Kansas City hip hop/rap community through recording, performance, and local clubs. I met Derrison several years ago at a church event, and we connected around his music. He has written and performed rap and spoken word at Easter services and my “It’s Friday” event. He also works with urban core kids through his community gardens project.
