Some Benefits of the Cross of Christ

At the cross, Jesus was taking your place..“God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Rom. 5:8).<br />At the cross, Jesus was taking your curse...Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us—for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who is hanged on a tree.” (Gal. 3:13)<br />At the cross, Jesus was clothing you...I will greatly rejoice in the LORD; my soul shall exult in my God, for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation; he has covered me with a robe of righteousness. (Isa. 61:10)<br />At the cross, Jesus was tearing heaven open for you...And when he came up out of the water, immediately he saw the heavens being torn open and the Spirit descending on him like a dove. (Mark 1:10)<br /><br /><br /> Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the holy places by the blood of Jesus, by the new and living way that he opened for us through the curtain, that is, through his flesh, and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith.
