Slangs Americans & South Africans Use | Sunday Funday

<p>Have you ever wondered what some slang words mean? Yes...us too. Unless you are a native of that country, local slang can be a little tricky to grasp, let alone use. In this Sunday Funday video, we share with you a few of the slangs that are used by Americans and South Africans respectively. </p> <p>We know that every country has its peculiar ways of giving local language/s flavor, color, and character. Take for example a country like South African that has 11 official languages, is likely to be rich in slang culture which could be daunting for foreign visitors - heck even some residents get confused when faced with some of the more obscure lingo.</p> <p> America on the other hand, also with a very deep culture has influenced the world with its use of slang, especially among the black community. Slang has played a huge role in the evolution of languages and culture. In the United States, we see this trend more among celebrities and on social media. </p> <p>So whether we love or hate it, we have to learn this sort of language somewhere and that's why we are happy to share some slang words that are spoken or used in our respective countries. </p> <p>We hope you enjoy this video as much as we enjoyed recording it.
