Sin is Revealed by the Law

Are you called of God? If you desire to go His way, start immediately, but don’t expect instant perfection.  Recognition of the difference between us and God is the catalyst for change. Peter said it this way, “I am a sinful man.”  How do we reach the salvation we desire? It’s in the gospel, though continually overlooked - the law is our schoolmaster.  (Paraphrased) Jesus said, “Keep my commandments, the big ten, and Dad and I will lead and guide you from-the-inside! We demonstrate faith by our works of obedience.  That’s step one.  Instantaneous salvation is a false doctrine. Don’t miss the perfection Jesus has in mind for you.   *** Jesus Calls Four Disciples (Part 2) JESUS stood on the shore of the Sea of Galilee, teaching the word of God to those who pressed abut him.            He entered one of two ships that were standing by the lake and requested Simon, called Peter, whose boat it was to thrust out a little from the land.
