Simply Christmas | Christmas Is About Christ

When many of us think of Christmas, we often think of simple things like time with family and friends, watching our favorite Christmas movies, or enjoying our typical Christmas traditions. Often our experience of Christmas is anything but that. We frantically rush around trying to buy all the right gifts. We cram too many events into our schedule. We plan, organize, shop for, and invite family and friends to Christmas dinner hoping everyone will just get along this year. Many times, our thoughts of Christmas and our experience of Christmas are two separate things. Christmas is anything but simple these days. In this series, we’ll explore the simplicity of that first Christmas and how we might experience more of that this year. Christmas is about giving, receiving, and Christ.
